Cenia Kaina is a Kichwa woman from the community of Peguche, and the granddaughter and daughter of women who have carried and passed down knowledge of plants, the land, and the Andean environment. A museum studies professional and specialist in historical heritage, she bridges community research, education, culture, and language to reclaim memories and create space for voices and forms of knowledge too often overlooked. Her work is grounded in a lifelong commitment to learning, community, and exploring how ancestral knowledge, memory, and place remain alive across generations.
