With degrees from both Kansas State University and the University of Texas at Austin, David Crutchfield is a professional Architect, associate professor, program coordinator, and researcher within North Dakota State University’s Architecture program. Holding advanced degrees from the University of Arizona and Cornell University, co-author Susan Schaefer Kliman is also a licensed architect and researcher, as well as professor and Chair of North Dakota State University’s Architecture and Interior Design program. Each draws upon nearly four decades of professional practice and instruction while teaching advanced coursework in sustainable design.
