Todd Ferry, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C, WELL AP, is an award-winning architect, educator, and researcher whose work focuses on public interest design and participatory approaches to the built environment. He is an Assistant Professor in the School of Architecture at Portland State University and, for more than a decade, served as Associate Director of the school’s Center for Public Interest Design, where he led research, design-build, and community engagement initiatives with communities historically underserved by architecture and design. His work explores how participatory design processes, emerging architectural typologies, and material and construction practices can expand community agency and address complex social and environmental challenges.
