Athena is an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians. As a collaborative and emerging design professional, she integrates her cultural background and knowledge to inform and shape her design decisions. She is dedicated to Indigenous Traditional Ecological and Cultural Knowledge (ITECK) and is passionate about amplifying perspectives that are often underrepresented in the design field. Her work reflects a deep understanding of the region, its traditions, and its culture, embracing inclusive and placebased design principles.
