Elisha V. Charley is a Clinical Assistant Professor in The Design School at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, where she holds a joint appointment in the Indigenous Placekeeping and Design and Architecture programs. Charley, a Nihok’aa Diyin Dine’e Holy Surface People, is an enrolled tribal member of the Navajo Nation. Charley’s research examines Native Nations’ housing marginality and spatial expressions within Indigenous planning frameworks.
